A mortgage and finance company is the latest company to consider relocating offices in the Cypress Waters development in northwest Dallas.

Approximately 3 million square feet of office space has been built within Cypress Waters’ 1,000 acres, and more space is underway in the project at LBJ Freeway and Belt Line Road.

Selene Finance, a Houston-based residential mortgage company, is looking to take nearly 42,000 square feet of office space at Cypress Waters, according to planning documents filed with the state.

Cypress Waters is already home to a number of mortgage companies, including Caliber Home Loans and Nationstar Mortgage, now known as Mr. Cooper.

Selene is considering leasing space at 3501, boul. Olympus, in a two-building office project, Cypress Waters developer Billingsley Co., built with nearly 400,000 square feet. Irving-based IdGroup is designing the office, which is slated to open later this year.

More than 11,000 people work at Cypress Waters for companies such as 7-Eleven, CoreLogic, Nokia, Brinker International, Toyota Industries Commercial Finance, BT America and Constellation Brands.

Developer Billingsley Co. recently opened a 10-story office tower at Cypress Waters, which will be the tallest office in the project to date.

In addition to offices, Cypress Waters has apartments, shops and restaurants.
